The new bigger space at Auburn Fit1 will have Pilates reformer classes and Barre classes and will open on November 20th. Barbara Jicha and Her Dog, Webelo Barbara Jicha has been a member of Auburn Fit1 for over five years! Barbara works out on average four days per week. She enjoys the classes and attends everything from Cycle, Cycle and Tone, Dynamic Duo and Step. Barbara is also a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions. Instructor of the Month: Ruby Fidler Ruby has been teaching Zumba at the Auburn Fit1 for three years. She teaches on Saturdays at 9:30 AM. Ruby first discovered Zumba 9 years ago and fell in love with it because it combined dancing with Latin music, and it didn’t feel like exercising. Ruby enjoyed it so much that she became certified and has been teaching since April 2014. She is also certified in Zumba Gold and Strong by Zumba. Class to Notice: Pacific Crest Trail Hike This hike will be led by member Joe Beuttner. Scheduled for October 21, 2017, we will meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Clipper Gap Park and Ride, exit 125. Joe has a suburban that can accommodate 9 people for carpooling; a donation toward gas is appreciated. We will carpool near Donner Pass off the 80 freeway.
