Qigong

Our Qigong class will have a class time change in March.
Meet us at our new class time of 9:30 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday mornings.

March is David Mitchell’s last month with Auburn Fit1.

Natalia Robertti will be teaching the class beginning April 1, 2019.

What is Qigong?

Integration of physical postures, breathing techniques, and focused intentions. Qigong is made up of two Chinese words. Qi is pronounced chee and is usually translated to mean the life force or vital energy that flows through all things in the universe. Gong, pronounced gung, mean accomplishment, or skill that is cultivated through steady practice. In this fifty five minute class, we will practice posture (while moving and stationary), breathing techniques, and mental focus. The gentle, rhythmic movement of Qigong reduces stress, build stamina, increase vitality, and enhance the immune system. All age and fitness levels are encouraged to attend this class.
