Cybex Lat Pulldown

The lat pulldown is a compound exercise that works the muscles of the back, particularly the latissimus dorsi. Several other muscles are engaged when performing this movement, making this a staple in many strength training routines.
- Adjust the seat height so shoulders are aligned with the shoulder height decal
- Adjust the thigh pad for stabilization during exercise
- Grasp handles and sit with thighs under pad
- There are two grips, an overhand grip or inside grip
- Pull handles down until elbows are by your sides and hands are approximately level with shoulders
- Extend the arms to return
- To advance this movement; while pushing the handles outward, pull down until your elbows are by your sides and your hands are approximately level with your shoulders
