Our one-hour strength class at Auburn Fit 1 will give you the benefit of the weight floor, with the energy and motivation of a group fitness class. Regardless of your fitness level, this class will meet the needs of the beginner to advanced participant. Our group fitness instructor, Shannon Bell will ensure correct form, ensuring a safe and effective workout.
This class will begin with a proper warm-up, incorporating all muscles that will be used throughout the class. It then moves into about 30 minutes of active work, 10 minutes of mat work and about 10 minutes of cooldown and stretching at the end. The class will incorporate weights, step, stability balls and possibly bands for a varying workout. Also emphasized in this class is core strength and balance.
