Fit1-Feb-SM-MOF-Dawn-Lambie-web-kt-01.2015-finalDawn Lambie has been a member of Auburn Fit 1 since June 2, 2012. She works out at Auburn Fit 1, five days a week, doing strengthening and cardio. She particularly enjoys the cycle class on Mondays and Fridays and a road bike ride on Sundays where she climbs 2500-3200 in the surrounding foothills. Her ultimate fitness goal is to lose 15 pounds, improve her strength, and maintain her mental health. Her more immediate goal is to strengthen her core and legs to assist with the recovery of her upcoming knee replacement surgery.

Dawn has been fortunate to complete 2 triathlons and 4 century bike rides over the last 10 years, but perhaps her most memorable accomplishment was reaching the Red Banks of Mount Shasta. She enjoys the pleasant and helpful staff at Fit 1, the fact that we offer the latest fitness equipment and a family environment. A special appreciation goes to her personal trainer, Jamie, who has spent the last year helping her stay focused.

Dawn is an administrator at a large community-based hospice in Sacramento. She has learned the importance of balancing life with family, friends, and activities that keep her grounded. Her beautiful daughter Erin, who now lives in Washington DC, has been an inspiration for Dawn to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Her best friend (and hubby) Paul encourages her to strive for more as he runs marathons, does extreme backcountry skiing, and is a beast on both his mountain and road bikes.
