My yoga journey started in 2014. I first started practicing yoga as a way to stay ‘skinny and thin.’ I quickly came to find that yoga is much more than a workout. It is something that will not only strengthen the body but also the mind.
The yoga room became my safe space of healing and self-exploration. It’s a place that allows me to step out of the world for a moment to reflect, heal, and breathe. I wanted to share this practice with anyone and everyone, in the hope that it could impact someone’s life, just as it did to mine.
In May of 2017, I graduated from teacher training. Teaching yoga is something I am passionate about and am grateful to be able to do every week. I only require two things in my class: your breath and your presence. With this, the poses will follow.
