Welcome our new Manager
to the Auburn Fit1 Family
Manager Auburn Fit1, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Pilates, Olympic Weightlifting
I’ve worked in gym environments most of my adult life, which spans from the time I had a home full of babies to the present day where my husband and I find ourselves, empty nesters. Back in the 1980’s I became certified and taught step classes, spin, kickboxing, strength, etc. in gyms across the country, as my husband’s career took us to different areas of the U.S.
This led me to acquire my National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certification, which allowed me to embark on my passion as a personal trainer.
I love it when my clients have that “Aha moment” and the confident “Yes I Can” attitude blossoms in their thinking as they realize their athleticism. There is nothing like seeing a client conquer their fear and realize that he or she can reach their potential. It gives me incredible joy!
About 8 years ago, I became interested in CrossFit and trained to become a Level 2 coach. I’ve participated in many competitions, to the point of placing in the top 150 athletes worldwide in my age group.
I’m beyond grateful for all these wonderful experiences in my life. Each one has taught me valuable lessons about health, age, mental and physical capacities and the joy of movement. I love the gym environment, and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you!. Please feel free to introduce yourself to me, talk to me, ask me questions, etc. The message that I’d like you to take away is: I’m here for you, and I care about you and your fitness goals.
Let’s do this! We will have fun.
