Auburn Fit1 is proud to introduce this month’s fitness instructor to notice, Lisa Raffetto. We are fortunate to have Lisa teaching for us on a regular basis on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. Lisa has been a regular sub for the Auburn Fit1 yoga classes, so we are delighted that she will now be teaching a weekly yoga class!
“It’s a long journey, so don’t worry about every little thing. Life is short, so make the most of it.”
This is the mantra that provides balance in Lisa’s life when she actually remembers to slow down and call on the mantra! This is what Lisa likes to encourage through her yoga classes: balance and structure mixed with release and let go. For Lisa, yoga is a training program for showing up fully in life.
Lisa has been teaching since 2008 and began practicing yoga in 2006. She has trained with a variety of instructors in numerous different styles. The most memorable being a solo trip to Athens for training with Rusty Wells!
Lisa has drawn on what she has learned through her personal experiences in life lessons to create a thoughtful, sincere yoga class that encourages students to achieve their goals and grow as individuals.
Lisa is an avid skier and loves hiking, backpacking, and travel. Her two dogs, boyfriend, and family fulfill and support her every day.
Don’t forget to join Lisa at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday evenings for an energizing 1 Hour Yoga class!
