I joined Fit1 in December 2014 after moving to Auburn from Fair Oaks. Years ago, I realized that I did not think I was getting enough out of my workouts on my own. I invested too much time at the gym with little results. I was lucky enough to be recommended to Joe Rodriguez of Fitness Lifestyle. Wow, what a difference that made. Not only is he well credentialed, knowledgeable, adaptable to age and abilities, but he is also insightful in helping one achieve their goals. His approach includes a balance of goal setting, nutrition and exercise. I am fortunate to say that after 15 years with Joe, he is now making himself available at Fit1. This is the perfect combination—a trainer and an adaptable, great facility.
While working with Cydney, we use a constantly evolving program design based on the ever changing activities throughout the year. In winter, we focus on adapting our programs to snow skiing and winter sports. In summer, we focus on hiking, mountain biking, and water skiing.
